Frame Your Future, brought to you by the Spokane Home Builders Association, is building a stronger worker training pipeline for residential construction in Eastern Washington by collaborating with area schools and industry leaders to offer construction-based curriculum and hands-on training programs for students and adults seeking employment in the trades.

Construction Camp 2024

The Spokane Home Builders Association is thrilled to announce the success of our recent Frame Your Future (FYF) Construction Camp for high school juniors and seniors. Over the course of several hours, a group of enthusiastic and dedicated students gathered to learn the trades and build five garden sheds from the ground up.

The "Skills That Build" Trailer is Visiting Schools!

The new Skills That Build Trailer was unveiled at the May 20th Construction Camp with a ribbon cutting performed by Spokane County Commissioner Josh Kerns. The FYF team will be visiting local high schools to help facilitate projects beginning June 2023.

NEWTech Concrete Pour

FYF collaborated with NEWTech Skills Center to give students exposure to concrete finishing skills while pouring foundations for three sheds. Big shout out to Central Premix and Anderson-Morris Concrete for donations of time and materials which helped give our students a great learning opportunity and an unforgettable experience!
